But did you know that you can actually get your credit report for free without paying for some sort of “service” to monitor your credit? You can talk to a credit restoration consultant to help, but you might want to take a look at doing it all yourself.

You can also access a central Internet website where you will be able to request your report from different credit bureaus. You also need to get your free credit report only through central website and not direct from the sites of individual agencies. The only reason being every credit bureau uses somewhat different information sources it is always advisable to get a report from each bureau so that you can check if there is any difference in the information held with the agency.
